ity was tasked with attracting more visitors to Carnegie Museum of Art (CMOA) to experience various exhibitions, including the prestigious Carnegie International, a signature event held only twice a decade.
Because serious art enthusiasts were already coming to the museum, our strategy for increasing attendance was to make the exhibitions feel more approachable in order to attract the casual art fan. Our media buys were targeted to reach this larger demo and, while our creative needed to be customized to the type of art in a given exhibition, we were consistent in communicating the idea that art is for everyone.
